The Dreamers’ Tarot is an art installation featuring twelve textile tarot cards that will be on display at The Craig Gallery in Dartmouth, NS between March 4th-March 29th, 2020.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Meghan Taylor Dunsmuir is a multidisciplinary artist and writer who explores the nostalgic nature of imagination, dreams and our deepest desires. She has been passionate about textiles and all things tactile since she was a child, something that was notably mentioned in a horoscope on the day she was born. She has always been inclined towards esoteric ways of knowing and was drawn to the magic of tarot this past summer. In May, Meghan will be attending La Maison Verte, an artist residency in Marnay-sur-Seine, France. Over the course of her three month stay in the French countryside, she plans to spend time reconnecting with her ancestral lands and delving deeply into her dreams and their symbols through her most loved practises of sewing, embroidery, weaving, writing and dreaming.
